Happy November everyone! I trust you all had a good October and a fangtastic Halloween! Again I apologise for the lack of updates, but between having 2 weeks off work where I became completely sucked into Minecraft and my Tekkit server and carrying out my gaming PC’s case swap, I haven’t had the inclination to blog. I’m very sorry for procrastinating, but meh, I feel like I’ve earned it. 😀
Today, I’ve spent a bit of quality time updating my WordPress plugins, clearing out Akismet’s spam filters and doing a bit of Google research – then fixing the epic fail that occurred right after upgrading 2 plugins. Thankfully after a minor ‘WTF’ moment, this was resolved really easily in the end! Hopefully I’ll have time to squish in a redesign of the blog at some point as it feels a bit generic at the moment. Not that the next layout wouldn’t be relatively generic either, it’d just feel fresher and hopefully I’ll get to brush off Adobe Photoshop and see if I can make the place look a bit more individual.
Toward the end of October, I DID however find time to create the Build Log section where you can find details of all my current and upcoming PC builds, current spec, future upgrades and links to blog posts featuring each build. These include the builds themselves, upgrades and any discussions or debates I’ve been having in posts about a particular PC. Hopefully these will grow in time, but for now they’re doing the job nicely.
Upcoming blog posts will feature my case swap from the Antec Twelve Hundred to the Antec 300 Ultimate Gaming Case, RamblingEpic’s imploding graphics card and hopefully the HTPC/Server will get some luv soon if all goes according to plan. There may even be a few Hackintosh related discussion posts in the run up to finally getting the build started!
