About

Tech Leopard is a blog focused on technology with a bit of a more personal feel. My name is Drea. I’ve been blogging since 2002 and building websites since I first started dabbling in HTML back in 1999.

In the ever-evolving landscape of technology and blogging, a profound transformation has taken place since the early days. Blogging, once a niche pursuit requiring coding skills and blog publishing scripts, has become accessible to all. Gone are the days when the blogosphere was primarily inhabited by personal bloggers discussing their studies, TV interests, and DIY blog layouts. With the advancement of technology, the blogging world has exploded, boasting an abundance of blogs covering virtually any topic or niche imaginable.

This blog serves as a hub for my tech-related adventures. My professional journey has led me from studying Zoology to a 13 year career in IT as a Service Desk Manager following nearly nine years of experience in technical support. Surrounded by individuals who assemble PCs from scratch and explore uncharted technological territories, I discovered my passion for tinkering with hardware and software. On Tech Leopard, you’ll find a diverse range of topics, including my latest PC upgrades, experimentation, hardware/software reviews, and step-by-step guides detailing my various upgrades and modifications. Welcome to a world where geeky tech exploits thrive and innovation knows no bounds.

As I said before, I’m a geek an enthusiast!
